What should founders share when building in public?
Building in public can mean a weekly decision log, a technical teardown, customer learning, revenue reporting, or a short product demo. The format matters less than whether the update helps a defined audience understand a real decision.
What have you shared that led to useful feedback, a customer conversation, an introduction, or a better product decision? Please include who the update was for, where you posted it, and what happened next. It is equally useful to explain what you keep private, especially around customer data, security, contracts, and unfinished incidents.
For a structured starting point, read Building in Public: A Practical Guide for AI Founders. Then add a concrete example that supports, challenges, or extends the guide.
