The floating toolbar is draggable and resizable, with built-in copy / paste shortcuts. Every popup supports 8-direction drag/resize and 4 position modes (Follow / Left / Sidebar / Center) — use it however feels natural. It is also tough where it counts: it works inside iframe-embedded pages like Lanhu and Axure, and survives chunk-streamed long reads such as CNKI.

Found a passage worth sharing? Copy a mark link in one click; when the recipient opens it, the page auto-scrolls to the exact spot — no more "it's in the third paragraph" guessing.

Mind Map (Context): AI draws the skeleton of the article

Long articles are hard to get through often because you cannot see the structure. MarkMind uses AI to summarize the page's main content into a hierarchy tree of knowledge points; your marks attach as leaf nodes under the relevant points, so the full outline and where each mark sits becomes clear at a glance.

Nodes can be dragged and rearranged, with layout and viewport auto-saved. Marks can be linked with 5 semantic relations (Argument / Refutation / Extension / Definition / Contrast), distinguished by different line styles and arrows; connection lines can be bent and redirected by hand, and hovering reveals the relation name. Organize & Filter: Stays tidy even with thousands of marks

A global grouping system supports multi-level paths (e.g. "Dev / Frontend"). Marks now carry a type (mark / bookmark) and a group field; legacy records migrate automatically.

The sidebar offers three views — List / Timeline / Mindmap — and filters by page, site, color, or group, plus full-text search. The split-view divider is draggable, the list auto-paginates (50 per page), star-to-top is supported, and batch delete / export / share / set-group all work in one go.

Cloud Sync (optional): Sync through your own GitHub or Gitee Gist, off by default, with the token stored locally only. Sync scope is independently selectable (marks / AI config / style / mark settings). Sharing (optional): Generate a public Gist share link for a selected mark; recipients import by pasting the share code — no token needed. Share records sync across devices and auto-dedupe. Privacy: Local data is stored only in your browser. The developer does not collect, transmit, or sell any user data.

AI Assistant: Bring your own key, zero upload

Every AI feature runs on your own key and endpoint, supports any OpenAI-compatible API, and sends requests straight from your browser to your configured provider — the developer never touches your data. Available actions:

AI Translate: Translate marked text into a target language. AI Tags: Auto-generate structured tags from mark content; smart-recommends tags when the input is empty. AI Reference: Based on the page body and idea notes, interprets the source and extends the thinking.
