I built a Chrome extension that helps you reverse-engineer the design of any website.

As AI makes it easier and easier to build websites, I noticed another problem: AI can generate a website that looks good… but making it actually feel premium is still hard. So I built Webmimic to help solve the design side of that problem.

With Webmimic, you can: - Extract images, SVGs, videos and other assets - Extract colors, gradients and typography - Inspect HTML and CSS of any component - Export a complete component with its code, assets and Design md files - Extract design tokens from an entire website - Generate Design md files for AI coding tools - Capture and recreate animated components - Run WCAG 2.1 accessibility audits - Save everything to your personal dashboard I've also added: - 100+ premium website design systems (Design md files) - 100+ Framer Motion / GSAP animated components

The idea is simple: Find a great website -> understand its design -> take the parts you like -> use AI to adapt them to your own product.
